Cheese Sandwich

After an emotional challenging day today, I asked my 3 year old daughter to say something nice to mommy so I can feel better. And, she said, "Mommy, you're the best cheese sandwich cooker in the whole world!" I knew I had a purpose! Then she smirked at me with that funny little face she makes, and I ran into the kitchen to make her a grilled cheese sandwich, no crust, on a Dora plate, just like she likes them.

Time Off

So this is my first blog, but it won't be long because I actually don't have time to write this...Eventually I will post a picture, but I can't seem to find one where I don't look too fat, too bubbly, or too much like myself! Anyhow, question: Have you ever gotten news that you were having houseguest, but knew it just wasn't a good time. It's on a weekend that you have a million things you need to do and a thousand things that you should have already done. Nevertheless, you know that when they get here, you will be happy. You will neglect all of the things you should be doing, and party like a rockstar! But then, Monday rolls around, and you find that you are in a deeper debt of responsibility than you desire, and the stressometer goes up about three notches, and your students were really looking forward to getting their essays back. That's what I have to look forward to. Woohoo!
